"Seven Boeing Sentry E3D aircraft have been taken out of service as a precautionary measure after the fault was discovered on a routine inspection."

How can the RAF spokesman say that there will be no loss to operational capability when the entire fleet is out of operation?

Other aircraft available apparently. Certainly not Nimrods? What then? Shadows, Sentinels, Islanders, uavs and some ISTAR Tornadoes?

Am I missing something?

The fault must be RAF specific as there's been nothing said about NATO or American airframes.

The cover will be from NATO and French aircraft as usual.

ZH102 just shown up on PP. Any further details of why they were grounded?
