Not an alert I'm afraid, but I couldn't find anywhere more appropriate to post it. Anyway, here goes.
Yesterday afternoon (Sun 6th May) I was looking at Planefinder and saw the above aircraft just north of the London TMA heading east and, as far as I could determine, bound for Stansted. Having done a brief search, it would appear to be a B757 of Aerolíneas Galápagos and rather far from home. My SBS-1 was running at the time but Reporter doesn't show anything, presumably as my coverage isn't very good due to living in a hole. That's a statement of geographical fact and not an opinion. On second thoughts.....
Anyway, does anyone have any more concrete information on this aircraft, particularly point of departure, please?
I did check Stansted arrivals but there was nothing there to shed any light on the question.

Thanks, Gents,

Hi there,

I understand this aircraft went into Southend and is to be used by Jet2 once refurbished.

Thanks Anmer, that's good of you.

The route was a bit circuitous, but I suppose that the aircraft's range, plus ETOPS requirements, limited their options.
