Hi,
For the last few days I have been getting aircraft symbols on the map display that keep accumulating and never go away.
(see screen shot).
Nothing in my settings has changed and I am at a loss on how to fix the problem.
Can anybody suggest the cause/solution please.
VRS version 2.4.4 32bit
Windows 10
I7 8700 64gb ram
Nvidia Geforce 1080ti

Have you tried closing the browser window and reopening?  Do the icons still remain?

I noticed the same problem over the weekend. What data sources are you using? I note that you are tracking ~7000 a/c, so I preseme you using the ADSBhub back feed?  Removing ADSBHub as in input source to my combined feed removed all the 'stuck' aircraft from the map.

The issue does not sit with your VRS - that is working fine. We will have to wait for ADSBHub to fix things at there end.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes I have tried that to no effect unfortunately.
To date I have:
Performed a browser/disk clean
Virus scan
Registry clean
DISM.exe / sfc /scannow operation
several VRS and computer shut downs
Reviewed and compared my VRS settings
Sworn profusely
Turned off the external ADSB feed provider for a couple of hours, but the area of accumulating data is just outside my personal receivers range, so difficult to tell if that makes a difference. It may simply be errors from the data feed.
Bristol to Dublin flight is 1hr 10 min but VRS is showing it static and racking up 4hr 48min (screenshot)and increasing as I watch it.
Other flights are perfoming normally, but of course it's hard to know which is a dud and which is a true indication without constant reference to the "duration" column.

I'm beginning to lean toward the external feed or some random corruption of my database, but I am seeking input before I tear it all down and start again.
Any and all suggestions welcome

Much swearing.

I think Rikgale's earlier message is on the right track.

Try removing ADSBHub as in input source.

Ah, thanks Rick
I was working my way towards that conclusion when our posts crossed streams.

Having eliminated the least obvious (lol) I think that he feeder is the issue for sure. Comparisons with other providers makes it clear that something is amiss. I really value the ADSBhub input as it has been a brilliant provider for years.
I think you have the right of it, so I'll just sit on it and see what develops.
It is a relief to think that my VRS is still chugging along happily.
Cheers

Thanks for that Anmer,
I concur with you and Rick.
My quick fix is to move the major congested areas off map on the screen and add "duration" to my list view. This reduces the clutter and returns some sanity to my map and I can visually isolate the outliers by their "duration" on map.
Not ideal, but the best I can do for now. Fortunately I am sufficiently West that anything East or Westbound has to fly over my "view" so it is crippled for the moment but not dead.

If you disable ADSBHub as a reciever from your VRS, the effected planes should vanish from the map in under a minute (depending on your settings) If you are only ever really looking at your local area then I would turn off ADSBHub for a while and hopefully they will sort themselves out in the next day or so.

All understood.
Thank you and Anmer for the time taken to help me out.

All seems to be well again this morning. No more 'stuck' planes.

Yes, all is well at this end. On the upside it did provoke me to do another long overdue back up of my database.
Again, thanks for replying, it makes a difference to have confirmation that you're not alone when something like this pops up.
