how to switch off network traffic?

Feeling like a noob now!

I've been running a Radarbox on Win7 via USB->ethernet box and it works as I expected (want). It tracks the flights it can see.

As part of my grand plan, I have now installed Radarbox as a Virtual Machine on WinXP.

After a few difficulties it is now connected. All that above may not matter.

When I start ANRB on WinXP, I now see all the 5 minute delay network traffic as well as my own data.

How do I turn off the received network traffic? Why didn't I see it on Win7?

Probably some hidden tick box!

Not exactly hidden!!  Untick the "get flights from radarbox network" box at the bottom of the network list.

If you never look at the network list because you don't want it, it's hidden!

Should be in Preferences but nothing about the Radarbox interface is typical Windows convention, eg should be able to toggle toolbars off and on so just the ones you want are displayed.

I like stripped down interfaces that don't consume CPU time on limited power computers.

Don't forget that everytime you start RadarBox you're uploading your traffic to the AirNav server whether you like it or not:
