I did reply to your email.

Do you want to share your data direct from your SBS or from BaseStation?

I am sharing from BaseStation and my ini file looks like this (sensitive data removed).

During Setup I chose option 7:

receiver="basestation"
fr24key="sensitive data"
host="localhost:30006"
bs="no"
raw="no"
logmode="0"
mlat="no"
mlat-without-gps="no"

Thank you for your messages!

From Basestation via USB

In the past similar thing happened, but then I did get the feeder starting easily. It was different back then.

Anmer

If you want to send data from a running BaseStation to the FR24 receiver you need to set up the feed using Option 7.  The same as I've done.

The BaseStation -> FR24 feed will be over your local network (both running on the same PC).  The SBS can be conencted to the PC by USB.

Where can I find this?

When you run the FR24 feed for the first time you are presented with options, including number 7.

If you delete the "fr24feed.ini" file you should start again.

There's a PDF manual that exclains this.

Thanks

I did read the manual. 2.2.3 Installation
A - Download the latest version Done

B - Extract it This I had not done. After doing this I did get past ERROR.

C - Start it
To start the sharing simply double click on fr24feed.exe!

Did start it and got past the ERROR.

The feeder started working, but could not get connection to the SBS-3 or Basestation.

------

So I think my settings or ports etc must be wrong somewhere

These should be my present settings

receiver="sbs3usb"

fr24key="xxxxxxxxxxxxx"

bs="no"

raw="no"

baudrate="921600"

logmode="1"

windowmode="0"

mpx="yes"

mlat="no"

mlat-without-gps="no"

Anmer

Great, some progress.

From where are you getting those settings?

Here is my ini file and the Status window for Setttings.

They're different to yours for Option 7.

receiver="basestation"
fr24key="Removed"
host="localhost:30006"
bs="no"
raw="no"
logmode="0"
mlat="no"
mlat-without-gps="no"

Hi

I think those settings were in some file under fr24feed.exe file.

Last night I tried to change it to Option 7. No luck. So I switched off my computer.

When I started my computer this morning and started fr24feed.exe it right away started feeding.  So I think better not do anything more now.
I see version 1.2.3.2

My friend did copy many files from my old computer. There was even an old backup for Basestation reporter. Too bad from 2014. So I got some old data back to my reporter.

I had made a backup in late May, but those are all CSV-files. No backup.bbk file in my memory stick. Is there any way to copy these files to my Basestation Reporter or to the old backup.bbk file?

BaseStation Reporter is a file viewer/editor.

The aircraft data that it views is to be found in the BaseStation.sqb file.

You can copy the sqb file but beware.  If you have Windows Vista or later, you may have a default BaseStation install that places the active sqb file in the Virtual Store. The one in the BaseStation folder is what I call a ghost file with no aircraft data.

You need to expose the Virtual Storee and copy the active sqb file.

Thanks. I see what I can do. I had no idea when making backup to my memory stick it wasn´t ok.

Thank you very much for your time and help.
