Spotted this on ADS-B Exchange a couple of days ago over the Med tracking west and just about to cross the Spanish coast.

The call sign was Tiger1 but aircraft type was not known. Only marked as UK Mil.

Searches thus far have yielded nothing.

Probably coincidental but there was an RAF A330 apparently having departed Cyprus in trail by a very considerable distance.

Any ideas, gentlemen?

Thanks, Mike!

I've noticed that ADS-B Exchange often shows 2-XXXX registrations as UK Mil even when I have the filter set for Mil only traffic.

Thanks again!

Hi WW
could well be that your Basestation prog and its active Country.dat
still shows that Range as MIL which may have returned to civil
which in BS-Country.dat shown as Guernsey_3 .

I believe you may find the latest even though of Nov15   in Bones

Thanks for replying, Truetrack.

Actually I was using the ADS-B Exchange website at the time, not my SBS-1.
I've just found another two 2-XXXX call signs showing on that site with the 'mil only' option selected.
Please see attached snip.
