Hello one and all,

For some reason (it seemed like a good idea at the time, but not in retrospect) I deleted my Basestation.ini file. Now I cannot connect to my SBS-3 via my network cable.
I get this message in debug

2018/12/21 : 18:42:18.175 : Main Socket Connecting on 192.168.1.191:10001
2018/12/21 : 18:42:19.316 : MainSocketError: error on connection 192.168.1.191:10001 (10061)

I did initially try 192.168.1.170, which I believe is the default, but had the same problem.
2018/12/21 : 17:55:38.451 : MainSocketError: error on connection 192.168.1.170:10001 (10060)
2018/12/21 : 17:55:40.987 : Main Socket Connecting on 192.168.1.191:10001

My SBS-3 is two floors away from my desktop pc. Short of buying a very long USB cable, can anyone suggest how I can determine the correct IP address of my SBS-3?

Thanks in advance - Clive.

Hi Clive,

You could try Advanced IP Scanner (free):

https://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/

You may need to enure the network range is correct for your LAN - 192.168.xxx.xxx? and then you are (probably) looking for PRONET GMBH as the adapter for the SBS. I have an SBS1er so unless Kinetic changed the supplier, then Pronet is the one to look for.

My Hero!

Thanks Tim, that's worked a treat, and I am back in business.
Actually, it's worked so well that I now have to work out what all the other entries are!

Thanks a bunch, and Merry Christmas - Clive.
