Hiya Guys;
I run both SBS and Airnav on a standalone computer. Just switched on after around a week and the SBS-1 is starting up and it says at the bottom of the screen that it is connected and all the lights are on the box but there are no aircraft either in the list grid or showing on the radar screen. Im quite sure there has not been another one of those pesky windows 10 upgrades as I have them turned off. Any ideas where I can start to sort it?
Also, not being brilliant with computers, I run my Airnav with one of those Nooelec Mini+2 thingies, can I do the same with SBS or does it require the actual box?

kind regards clive.

Hi Clive.

I assume you mean BaseStation?  The SBS is the radio and BaseStation is the software.

In response to your post:

1. Does BaseStation launch the full window and it's devoid of all aircraft on the map and list?

2. You can run BaseStation off an SDR receiver, such as the AirNav Flightstick if you run ModeSMixer/ModeSDeco, for example:

Thanks for the reply Anmer. Your first answer was yes, the screen is open but no aircraft. However, I have just visited the SBS website and downloaded the firmware once again and as soon as I re-opened basestation, it all worked. Whether that was a coincedence I will never know! I have always experienced a slight delay upon opening basestation of around a couple of seconds , before the screen populated, I dont know if that is normal. Anyway for now it's all working but I am thinking of switching to a Flightaware dingle and have posted a question over in that forum. Thanks once again.
