Hi,

Want a compact aerial for traveling.... anybody using this -

hmm I use an PCB Antenne or an who look like an DVB-T/ Wifi Antenna from China bought via Aliexpress.
I would say it depend how you travel. If you travel by Air every g counts.  ;)

I use the stock antenna that came with the sbs1. That looks ok to use. i find that i get good coverage, but if at an airport i am only interested in whats coming in.

I swear by this aerial for travelling. I use it every week with either an SBS-1090 Puck or RTL Dongle, as I my job is 'travelling'. Reception sensitivity is fantastic. On a rental car roof I'm getting up to 300 miles range and in a hotel room its around 100 miles, on average, depending on location.

It stays attached to the rental car at any speed (due to the low wind resistance) and in my hotel room I pop it on a metal lid (from a jam-jar) to give it a little stability on the windowsill. Hope this helps anyone searching this post in the future.
