Anyone know how to switch off contrails please !

In basestation..

settings-display settings-aircraft display-aircraft drawing and change setting to what you need..

You can quickly toggle contrails on/off using the toolbar icon for "Display All Trails"

There's another icon which will toggle the contrail length (in seconds) on/off "Show Only Recent Trails".

The Reference Manual explains more.

You did Ian but what software are you using?

We assumed Basestation as you have SBS-1 in your signature.

Smudger, what version of Basestation are you using?  The "Recent Trails" was added some time ago.

You need to upgrade the Basestation.exe to 169.

Just download from Kinetic website, rename old one and then paste new one.

Nothing I can find sorry, certainly nothing in the instruction booklet that comes with the device.
