A long time ago - 30 January 1965

For those who might remember!

30 January 1965 was the day of Winston Churchill's funeral.

Film/videotape (?) of the funeral was reportedly flown to the USA for broadcast on TV (this was long before any sub-ocean cables or satellites).

Does anyone remember/know what was used to transport the film?

I do have a log of what I think was used. Heathrow to New York. But I can find no reference to the flight.

Can anyone shed any light on this or did I make it up!!!!
