After many years of chugging along quite happily when required I am now unable to start Flight Display,to the best of my knowledge nothing has been changed in the set up other than Windows 10 updates. Any advice would be most welcome.

Hi Graham

As you know, FD has not been supported for many years.  It may not work under Windows 10.

Have you tried a fresh install?

Graham Bell

Thank you for that Mike...I have been on Win 10 now for eighteen months or so during which FD has worked quite happily so I may well try your suggestion of a fresh install.
I am not a big user of SBS now I find Plane Finder or FR24 serves my needs  better but when I do use it I have FD running purely for the excellent alert function.
Obliged to you for your valued input.

What do you experience when you try and launch FD?  Any error messages?

No response whatsoever.its as if it was never installed. I get the feeling I have unknowingly done something?

Do you have a desktop shortcut for FD?  Or what do you click to launch it?

Graham Bell

Yes launch attempt via desktop shortcut also tried vla start up menu with same no go.Stangely task manager indicates that FD is running in the background not that that means anything to me and my IT skills !
