Klaus

What kind of scanner am i looking for?

Well, a handheld, but i'd like to have some features:

1: It should search a given frequencyrange for active (squelchlevel) frequencies AND
2: Store this frequencies in memory automatically AND
3: Scan the stored frequencies.

Back in '97 i bought such a scanner at Radio Shack, but sold it 2003 with my videocam.

Thanks for your answeres!

I bought me a used UBC-125XLT at our local HAM-Shop for 50 Euro.
Its Close-Call-Function seems to be exactly what i was looking for.

They had a used Icom IC-R20 too, but it was way out of my league.
