Outage Saturday 9 June 2012

The Radarspotting website and forum weren't available for a short period of time this morning.

This was due to a technical problem at the hosting company that affected some customers.

The hosting company has apologised and I would like to do the same to our members and guests.

I have not come accross a hosting company ye, that hasn't let it customers down at some point.

I never expect 100% uptime.  But LCN is very good.

I was getting some intermittent mysql errors  from the site last night and the chat box said it wasn't available. Then it all started working ok so I didn't mention it.

Related to this outage, the forum hosting platform has maintenance scheduled for Thursday 14th June 2012 at 23.30 UK BST.

There will be a possibility of a further outage of all or part of the Radarspotting website and forum for an expected duration of 10 minutes.

Well that's the plan.
