Problem need help

After 3 months sterling service my ADSB stick has decided to leave yellow led on permanently and com port has dissapeared is there anything i can do?

Not sure except was happily using it 24/7 then looked and nothing being shoiwn on PP closed PP reopened it said no avr at port. looked in device manager com port dissappeared and new entry i cant remember exacty but remember this from initial setup so i guessed drivers missing
reinstalled driver still nothing.

Then rememebered i have to use install program as admin

Why drivers dropped out i really cannot say

Often, USB devices not on the MS hardware compatibility list, need only be placed in a different port. Drivers already installed should get picked up. Either way, it will be seen as a new device and should avoid whatever conflict is causing it to be hidden. I see this all the time with USB wireless 3g sticks from phone carriers.
