Hi guys

I'm going to attempt the over Ethernet set up with my box, i'm not 100% sure which power supply I require and the last thing I want to do is blow my box up ! I'm based in the US, can anyone point me in the right direction to the requirements please ?

Kinetic once advised for SBS-1eR:

I always recommend 12v DC Centre positive 300ma

Thanks Anmer, I guess I would just stick some sort of usb adapter on the end of one then as a search doesn't seem to being any up with a USB connection as standard so to speak

Isn't the connector a Mini-B?

Maybe a suitable adapter for the power supply?

Sorry, the SBS-1eR had dual power options:

1. USB
2. DC supply with 5.5mm jack, 2.5mm pin

Oh, that changes things - I'll find something from that - thanks  :)

Check the jack socket and pin size.

I have only ever used the USB-B connector on my SBS-1e.

Something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Charging-Controller-Players-Receiver/dp/B00P0GI68M/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=usb-b&qid=1605398333&s=electronics&sr=1-3

with a USB phone/tablet charger.

Safer than finding the correct PSU.

@ flyoverfred

Are you planning to use the power supply to feed the downstream PoE connection?

Hey Anmer, I'm not 100% sure what that means but my plan is to mount my aerial in the attic and run the sbs1-er over ethernet - so i need to power the box with a plug rather than the usb
