Ahhh the Horton wing...the a/c that spawned the flying saucer myth !  8)

What do you mean 'myth'?  ;)

Anyway, here's a few pics I took of a large scale model of the Horten brothers product at Rougham in 2006.

Nice pis !!!

Imagine a flight of those , painted silver , reflecting the sun  and skipping across the Cascade mountains , like stones skiping across the surface of a pond ....    ;D

Well I know the Yanks took at least one to the States and it was the basis for Jack Northrop and Cheston L. Eshelman's flying wings, but I doubt they had a squadron of them!  ;D
