From Bev:
PlanePlotter version 6.4.9.1 is on the web site today.

---Usual boilerplate---
Updates are free to registered users.
You may need to exercise your browser Refresh function to force it to show you the new version of the PlanePlotter web page. If you post a message complaining that the web site is still pointing to an earlier version, you pay a forfeit!
You can install the new version over the old one but you *must* close/exit PlanePlotter before installing the new one. Your settings will be preserved. Nic's installer will warn you if PlanePlotter is still running when you try to install the new version.
If you have a version-specific firewall (eg Zone Alarm), you may have to reassure it that the new version is permitted to access the Internet. Be aware that an increasing number of security systems treat any new file as a threat without any justification except that it is new. Please don't write to me about it; write to your security system provider and ask them to make their program smarter.
-----------
New in version 6.4.9.1
"New" aircraft
If you chose to alert or record aircraft that were "new" (when not in the SQB database), that action did not occur if there was no registration available. That is fixed in this release.
Auto centring
Previously the autocentring option in Options..Chart..Auto refresh and Options..Chart..Outline..Auto refresh only applied to manual movement of the chart or outline. This version implements the option if you select Option..Chart..Options : Centre chart on designated aircraft. This means that if you are tracking a designated flight, it will not "run off" the current chart or outline. Watch this video to see the effect. www.coaa.co.uk/PPautocentre.mp4
JAERO flight numbers
This version fixes a bug when a report delivered by JAERO lacks a flight number.
Beamfinder ping logging option
This version adds the option in the Beamfinder function to create a ping log for a specific identifier or pulse rate, rather than for all identifiers. This may help processor load in locations/receivers with a very high message rate, which previously may have struggled to keep up with the logging of all identifiers and rates.
The analysis of the ping logs for Beamfinder now detects zero radials.
Condex setup
A new accelerator key (Alt-c) opens the conditional expressions setup dialog for chart displays.
Home location
A new accelerator key (Alt-h) opens the home location dialog.
Enjoy!
