Title: Hi from Philly
Post by: The Asteriskus on March 21, 2020, 10:26:55 PM
I'm in Philly. I am a non-flying pilot who loves all things airplane, especially all things Airbus. Currently interested in Frontier, as they have announced they'll be buying a bunch of new planes and expanding their routes. I have an instance of VirtualRadar listening to an SDRPlay RSP1, and I am on several other forums and sites like FLightRadar24 and Flightaware. I'll be setting up my laptop with an SDR-RTL when the WX gets warmer and going to TTN to track Frontier activity.

Welcome and thanks for the introduction.

What's a "non-flying pilot"?  One who's licence has lapsed?

Maybe Frontier will be forced to postpone those aircraft acquisitions?

Well I'll always be a pilot even though my BFR lapsed about 10 years ago. Too expensive now. I do wonder how airlines deal with orders for new aircraft when an unprecedented business situation like this comes up. Certainly not predictable. We'll see what Frontier does.
