Title: French ULAC Registration tie-ups
Post by: phat01 on May 24, 2020, 01:44:26 PM
hi all,

is there an easy way to tie up the following French HEX code's/registration's:

F-JDAD - 39E83C
F-JGDW
F-JBDT
F-JBHH - 39DC3C
F-JDYU - 39F3BC
F-JDVC - 39F25C
F-JVDX - 39BFDC

i have googled them and used various programs to try and tie them up but to no avail. They are all very small/microlight aircraft.

i know a few have other reg types but not sure how they tie up with these?

many thanks

Phil

The French register doesn't appear to have any F-J*** registrations.

Exactly my point..... i constantly pick them up so they are real planes. I have checked FR24 to and they are on there but with no aircraft type etc. (there are some on there now)

Its really confusing

Most appear to be JMB VL3 Evolutions:

See this:

The two numbers/one, two or three letters IS the registration -often carried underwing only. The numbers are the 'departement', the same as used by car number plates.

Some ULMs carry F-J... either externally or on the instrument panel, but this is a radio callsign allocated to the pilot, not the aircraft.
