Hex 445566 was showing on my basestation with Austrian mill flag, but no info to find about this hex code
Was there a callsign/flight ID too?

This hex was discussed at length on the old Kinetic forum some years ago and I think that the consensus was that it was a spurious code, possibly generated by the SBS box itself as a consequence of one of the BaseStation program upgrades.
That said I do seem to recall a few non-SBS users also reporting having received it, but in the main, it was only SBS users.
It continues to appear several times daily on my system here in Cheshire &, on checking my SQB file, I find I have 228 records for it since 25/05/20, nearly all just 1 second hits.
it's probably best treated as a spurious code & ignored !
Actually,
After long exhaustive research and talking to many military people in the know, they've said its been rumored that ICAO had secretly assigned 445566 to this very famous and generous pilot. I've made my first and last sideview (plus logo) of this person in question.

And I thought I had a good memory ???
It's not just basestation either. And global
It's a regular in PlanePlotter for no apparent reason.
And FR24 boxes, beast receiver (I get em too, only 1 single burst a time normally)
Seems to be some spinoff bad calculation in decoding.
This annoying one second wonder hex has been around for a long time. As of today I've picked it up 673 times since the the 12th of April 2014.
