Title: VXS or XCJ?
Post by: rikgale on August 23, 2020, 04:51:40 PM
Hi All

I have just spotted G-MERB (F900). Callsign VXS046. According to what has come up on my VRS this a/c belongs to XCJ Jets.... but the callsign would suggest it is a Voluxis Jet. The internet is not giving me a clear picture. Some sources say Voluxis and other XCJ Jets. Can anyone clarify please?

Thanks,
Richard

CAA GINFO shows that both are somewhat correct!

The owner is XJC Jets, however the aircraft is operated by Voluxis.

So the callsign used makes sense.

Many business and commercial aircraft are "owned" by a bank or leasing compnay.  Most will apply the operator logo.

Plumbed for the VXS side view from Chris before I spotted your reply. Thanks for confirming what most would do :)
