OpenSky holds regular meetings were new developments and academic research is presented.
For people interested in what can be done with ADSB data and how it can be combined with other aspects of climate investigation and aircraft safety.
E.g
One issue is the reliability of the global positioning satellite systems !
A disturbances or failure of the GPS signals can nowadays lead to significant safety issues as flight control is more and more relying on precise ADSB data.
