Hi
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but this aerial apparently was in the box when you bought an SBS-3
I myself have been using it on my SBS -1,and I`m impressed with it.The aerial cable, though,I`m finding it too short.I could really do with another couple of metres,to get it into a higher position,so I`m wondering if there`s an aerial extension cable I could buy that`s compatible with the MD-1100SBS
Regards
Allen
Hi Allen
Does the antenna have an SMA connector?
If it does, something like this should be just fine:

Make sure the connectors are SMA and not RP-SMA:

I use short fly leads, such as the link above, to connect my receivers to a Mini Circuits' splitter and they are fine.
Thanks for the link,Ajmer.Yes it's an SMA connector.I was hoping for something longer than 1 metre,though-would I lose signal strength if I bought 3 or 4 and linked them together?
Look around for something longer to avoid multiple connectors which will possibly lose more signal.
What length do you need, both total from antenna location to SBS and extension to existing antenna?
Hi Anmer-sorry for calling you Ajmer earlier(fat fingers)
The cable on the MD-1100 is around 2m,and I could really do with double that.Another 2m could extend my range quite a bit.
I'm very impressed with its performance thus far.It definitely outperforms my other aerial(AirNav),despite being not as high up.
This might be OK

Thanks,I'll give it a try."Added to basket"
