Hello

Does anyone have any idea what this may be? Currently at FL300 @ approx 500kts over the Channel.

Thanks

I think I may have semi-answered my own question

https://bzzspotters.blogspot.com/ (accessed 28/05/2021 @ 11:30)

The call-sign assigned and time matches up with ZZ3xx (so unidentified tanker)

What's with the 000001 HEX??

What's with the 000001 HEX??

1. Deliberate spurious code
2. Messed up transponder data
3. Bad transmission/decode

Or anything else!

I would say 1) and 2) are most likely.

3) I would think unlikely as I received ~6000 messages from this a/c.

Thanks
Richard :)
