Title: Updating an SQB file
Post by: RENAGG on February 09, 2022, 06:29:38 PM
Hey guys!
First of all I want to thank you and congratulate you for the excellent tips here.
I would like your help on the following. I have a Basestation.sqb database that I use on my computer updated with most aircraft data. Now, I use on a Raspberry another Basestation.sqb file that is not updated with the aircraft data.
I would like to know how do I update this Raspberry Basestation with my computer's basestation data?
I was doing it manually, but there are a lot of records...lol

Welcome.

Can you explain the setup you have for the RPi?

What do you mean by "not updated with the aircraft data"?

Are you "updating" the sqb file used on your computer by adding aircraft type, owner, registration etc for aircraft data received by whatever receiver you're using?

What receivers are you using and where are they located?

There are options but it would help if you could expand on what you are using and where.

If I understand you corrrectly, simply copy your "up to date" SQB file from your PC/laptop to your RPi.  I do this on a regular basis.  I also update my OpertorFlags this way.

I use WinSCP, which has a fantastic Synchronize function.
