Radarspotting

My son was clearing out an old shed and came across a tailwheel.  From what I can find, it's most likely from a Spitfire. 

Can anyone here confirm?

The (Dunlop?) part number AH2184 visible in the first photo is indeed correct for the tailwheel on at least some marks of Spitfire. 

However I understand that the same wheel was used on the Dominie (Dragon Rapide), so your son's example may be from one of those.
