Title: AIRLINE LOGS / AIRCRAFT SILHOUETTES
Post by: YORKIESI on June 29, 2022, 09:48:43 AM
Hi all,  i have got a fully up to date populated SQB file, which has replaced my old one that i had manually populated over the years ( with reg/type and airline-operator , which incl logos ) ,     but this new SQB has no operator flags / names or aircraft silhouettes,

is there any way of repopulating the operator codes (  and in turn the logos ) , other than doing them manually  ?

thanks

From where did you get the new SQB file?  And in what folder did you place it?

Thanks.

Have you viewed the sqb data to see if the OperatorFlag code fields have been populated to match the .bmp files in your OperatorFlags folder?

not sure how to view a SQB file ?   notepad ?  wordpad ?

when i open the actual a/c on the SBS list,  the operator box is empty.

Use Basestation Reporter.  Or double click on an aircraft to open the pop-up Aircraft Details window.

Select Edit Details to view the record.

This Guide may help:

thanks for this.
I have no problem in how to add a logo/silhouette to a single aircraft,  and looking at the guide it is the SBS-1 - Populate ( page 10 ) is what i need,  but does that program still work  ?

is there a way of 'batch' adding logos via BS Reporter  ?

Have you resolved this issue?

No.  But you could using an SQL editor.

Hi, no, not looked at it yet,  will have a go 2nt.

not a Techno type,   so messing with a SQB file via a SQL editor will only end up going wrong i fear...  ha

A simple, non-tech solution, is to use my monthly SQB and associated operator flags.

If you use your SQB for highlighting seen/not seen aircraft this option becomes more difficult.  However I can update your existing SQB with the appropriate OperatorFlag field entries only if required.  Then all you need to do is use my OperatorFlags.  Again, I could run this update on a monthly basis.

My charge is very reasonable - the occasional "thanks" is all I demand  ;)

Of course, you may not like my images and don't want to go down this route.  So a "no thanks" would be totally understood!

Hi Steve,  appreciate your offer.

let me check when home, the other ways.

my SQB is fuly updated from the Aerodata database, and yes i use it alongside their BSA program , which gives me alerts for Aircraft needed that come on my SBS,  so your SQB prob wouldn't work ?

think all i am looking for is a one time AIRLINE LOGOS run in, and then manually update every week , when Aerodata update new frames etc.
thanks
Simon
