Hi,
I've had mode-s hex 43C5F3 callsign GLET50 on my Basestation display for an hour or so this afternoon.
I can't find any details for this, anyone able to provide info?
Cheers,
Keef.
Spotted this one on Flightradar24, it looks like it took off from Brize Norton, then went to NCL - DSA and is know heading back down South.
Its not listed on Airframes and GAS seems to be offline again. (Sorry if this is MIL i am unsure.)
GLET50
Altitude: 3425 ft (1044 m)
V/S: 128 fpm
Speed: 248 kt (459 km/h, 285 mph)
Track: 48°
Hex: 43C5F3
Squawk: 7420
GAS has it as Qinetiq RJ1H QQ101, sn E3368.
Thanks,
Planeplotter picked it up (after a while) as QQ101 and RJ1H as well.
I could swear I checked GAS, but maybe not!
Looks like it went into Boscombe Down a few minutes ago.
Cheers,
Keef.
Thanks Mike.
Will it keep the Reg: QQ101, if i was to put it in Flightradars Database what would the ICAO Type code be and who is the Owner.
Thanks in advance, Speedy
Found it here: http://www.planespotters.net/Production_List/British-Aerospace/BAe-146/E3368,G-BZAY-QinetiQ.php
ICAO Type Code = RJ1H
I'd enter Qinetiq as the operator. Or MOD?
But see:
http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=62286
and
http://www.caa.co.uk/application.aspx?catid=60&pagetype=65&appid=1&mode=detailnosummary&fullregmark=BZAY
Thanks Mike, QinetiQ seem to do Flight Training with the RAF.
I have put it in the Database as RAF as the Hex code is in a RAF batch as per: http://www.ukserials.com/
They have another one: E1254 QQ102 BAe.146 RJ70-ER
Cheers, Speedy :)
Thanks Mike,
Cheers,
Keef.
