Title: Globe-s rtl
Post by: Steveyboy1234 on January 02, 2024, 08:51:15 AM
Hi there,

Anyone using Globe-s rtl on windows 10?
Runs ok but don't seem to be able to get the text to display for the following
1 time
2 altitude filter upper and lower
3 meter data
4 flight strip
5 bearing distance data on selected aircraft

Any help appreciated

Cheers Steve

Thanks.  Were you seeing the missing data before on a different setup?

Nope. This is the first time I'm using this.
I've not seen the data. Tried re installing but no joy

The aircraft data labels are fine and everything else appears to work fine

Thanks

Does RTL1090 decode these messages?

Yep RTL1090 all functioning well and decoding. Globe-s rtl connects to it fine. Aircraft seen on the radar screen with correct data labels.

Just no text in the UTC and LT box at the top of the screen. No text in flight strip box that appears on the top when you mouse over an aircraft. + the other stuff mentioned in OP.

To the best of my knowledge Gloce-S is no longer supported.  Maybe there are members here who still use it who can help?  I'm afraid I've run out of suggestions.

Thanks for the help anyway.
I know there are probably more Moden alternatives but I like the retro feel of it.
Surprisingly similar to current ATC screens at place I fly

I'll let the post know if I make any progress

Cheers Steve
