Title: SBS-1er
Post by: G6NHY Keith on October 10, 2012, 07:22:07 PM
 Hi All
After finding one or two problems my hard drive.
I have got a new hard drive and reinstalled XP and programs I use.

So thank you for the help, so I will need some information to help me to get things running.

The setup: XP software. SBS-1er ver: 1.2.3.168 / BaseStation SBS-Resources 6.7 / FlightDisplay.
They are all running, I get floating pics, but not pictures in Aircraft details ?.
Also got running SBS-Populate but not treid yet, I want to read the information first.
So any tips or information I would be very grateful.
Regards G6NHYKeith

Welcome

Have you edited the Basestation.xsl file to create image placeholders or have you used SBS-Resources Pop Up Editor?

What version of FD are you using and do you have a folder of locally saved images?

Hi All
Just setup with the SBS-1er so it's all new to me and looking for any tips or information.
Setup SBS-1er with the latest upgrade programs from Kinetic.

Base Station ver 1.2.3.168 / SBS-Resources 6.7 / Active Display Lite beta 1.32.30.

At the moment I'm not getting pictures it the Aircraft details but getting all the other info, but I have only just put AD.lite on, so maybe I should RTFM.

Being new I'm finding my way around but finding that I've been looking at old information. So any info or advice on which program to use.

As I said it's all new only setup week last tuesday. Looking forward to your reply.

Regards G6NHY Keith.

Hi Anmer
Sorry for double posting, I did not know my first one had been moved.
As I said it's all new.
At the moment I'm running Base Station 1.2.3.168 & Active Display 1.32.0.30. SBS-Resources was used to setup Base-station.

I do have FD 7.93 and I was useing that. I only download A/Display last night and setup this morning.

So if you can tell me what I should be running to receive flight info and pictures I would be very grateful.

As I have already said it's only 10days in to this side of the hobby and this old brain grey matter is not as good these days, so takes some sinking in.

If you can help would be grateful and looking forward to your reply.
In the mean time will look to find this posting..

No problem Keith.

FD gives you nthe option to display photos in Mouse Mode or to add them to the Aircarft Display.  SBS-RTesources hasn't been updated since FD was changed years ago to only get the photos off website and not store them locally.

Here is one of my Aircraft Display window.

To get FD to show images the Basestation.xsl needs editing.  If you can send me your existing one I'll edit it for you.
