Hi all just got this Antenna from .it works very well getting far more aircraft then the old Antenna and this is used in doors or when I go away . (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09CV86FV1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title)
Where do you place it indoors and where was the previous antenna placed?
And with what make receiver are you using it?
Just by the any window up or down stairs and I use Radarbox green flightstick to run to base station . use to get about
45 aircraft, with this got up to 75 . good for indoors . have got a out side Antenna get a lot more with that . but just tried this and it works
Do you find that the orientation of the antenna makes a difference to the range and number of aircraft received?
Presumably, unlike a symmetrical antenna, the gain isn't the same in every direction.
It works any were I put it facing South or North . I think I get more North as Heathrow is North to me . Up stairs get more aircraft then down .
