Not sure of 500 jets. I would think China would buy planes mainly for their international routes. One would think they would use Chinese backed and made COMAC planes on their domestic routes. I doubt the COMAC planes will ever be certified to fly in the United States making international routes limited.
Only time will tell what happens.
