Rather strange post today by AirNav:
"If you are a RadarBox user but also have a SBS receiver we would kindly ask to contact us (email to our support - support@airnavsystems.com ). We will give preference to active beta testers and users that have a closed relationship with our company."
I'll send an email ASAP. Maybe the answer will provide a translation?

Maybe they're trying to hack Basestation to work with RadarBox. ;)

And can't afford to buy an SBS.
I would love to see Brandao's face when he tots up the emails and they come to 2,000. 8)
?
I'll send them an email now.
Cant wait for the reply to that one. ;D ;D ;D ;D
"Hi,
Thank you for requesting support from AirNav Systems.
Your support request ticket number is 94nnn.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible."
Sounds like one of the usual promises.
Just checked my email inbox...
Didn't receive anything from AirNav Systems. AirNav Systems has my email address on file.
I would love to beta test the software for one day to see if one of the bug is fixed!
but can't do anything about the second part(SBS).
QuoteWe will give preference to active beta testers and users that have a closed relationship with our company."
As someone just suggested, maybe this is a ploy on the part of AirNav Systems to harvest email addresses?
Now that would be naughty.
Yet more unfounded allegations. I'm happy to report that Kinetic and other suppliers have been willing to trust me with confidential information.
Any excuse will do. Strange that AirNav doesn't have the contact details of those "who are known to us and we can trust"?
"Hi,
Thanks for your email.
We are looking for customers to do some testing and we are looking for customers who are well known to us and we can trust with an agreement. Unfortunately with your website we don't think we will be able to trust that you will not pass on confidential material to your website visitors.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance."
Can I suggest two little words that might be behind this exercise
"raw" and "data"

Yep, this sounds about right knowing them

What a load of C**P...........
It is obvious to me that while it may be a ploy to harvest Emails, it is also a red herring to divert attention from the lack of progress of any kind from the so called Airnav 'Team'.
These jokers are the world leaders in hoodwinking and deception, gawd, what a shower they are.
Good to see you are on form. Hamish.
Tom
Hi Tom,
hope you are well...........
Time does not heal the animosity I have towards Brandao & Co, well founded rancor Tom, well founded indeed.............
On a lighter note, I am still breathing and the pen still has ink in it so that's not so bad ;)
Where do you get your ink Hamish?
