This is a nice airport for spotting. The airport building has a nice place to eat on the 2nd floor that over looks the runway and and outdoor dining area. Lots of plane traffic here and to the North you'll see military traffic into MCAS Miramar and aircraft to the South going into San Diego-KSAN.
The plane N734ZK was a 1977 Cessna 172N Skyhawk. My records show it was being used by Fly San Diego a local flight school with 2 other locations in Idaho where the plane was registered. My system showed 240 flight counts since 2024.
