Title: Base Station Reporter

How long do the reports stay in BSR and can you make them indefinite?

I run BS create reports and save them in Excel, that way you can keep them for as long as you need them.. I dont think BS deletes anything unless directed to.. therefor the logs list should continute to get bigger..

Basestation Reporter is just a browser and editor for the Basestation.sqb database.

I've no idea if there's a maximum limit on the number of records that can be held in the SQLite database.

My sqb file has aircraft records going back to 2005.  The flight sessions attached to the aircraft record are deleted periodically using GAS' SBS Populate.

A large sqb file can slow things up a bit.

Why do you ask?

Hi all, I'm a newbie so please be gentle with me!!!!!  :-)

I use an SBS-1, and changed laptops a couple of years ago, now I'm unable to delete the spurious hexcodes which are sitting at the top of my reporter!!!  Used to use sqlite on my old one, but this newer laptop doesn't seem to like it......I've tried to download it a couple of times in case I'd done something wrong!!!!!

Can anyone offer me a solution please????

Thanks in advance

John

Hi John

Try using SQLite Expert Personal, it's free and very easy to use:

Are you sure you didn't download the Professional version? I'm sure that the Personal version does not have a time limit.

There's no free trial with the Personal Edition.

When you say the "laptop doesn't seem to like it", what happens?

Clicking any column will sort ascending/descending.  Just tried it and works as it should.

Yeah, does for me too, but doesnt bring up the spurious ones!!

09009C is right at the top on my basestation reporter, but doesnt come up when I click the top of a column!

The column will sort the data.  It doesn't know what's a spurious code.

Hi ANMER, seems I had a problem with my reporter, the sqb file was corrupted somehow!!! After a phone call to the VERY nice man at Kinetic,(Chris Taylor), he's got me up and running again!!! And thanks for all your help as well!!!

Now, does anyone know where I can download a new sqb file from, as I've now lost the one I had with 100,000 plus entries in it?

SBS-Resources had a "starter" sqb file.

http://www.sbs-resources.com/downloads/index.html

There's also one on the Kinetic site but not sure how many records it has or how old it is?

Cheers yet again ANMER......I assume yr here in the sunny UK?

I've got ADLite running, and I assume you need an internet connection to run this, or am I wrong there? Also, can I assume it will run and work anywhere in the world?

AD Lite will need an internet connection, from anywhere as long as the local authorities don't block connections.

I had a customer with AD-lite today whose backups saved his otherwise lost database
I believe if you get the full Active Display you get an offline look up pocket database
