You will need to use USB to update the firmware then back to Ethernet.

Thanks - Anmer

Thought that was the routine .

Hope I don't have a blank screen like the other guy after my updates  !!

Never had a problem since I started to use Ethernet  ;D

Hi ,

I down load 1.2.3.175  But had to revert back to Firmware 116  !!

Could be me - but I did the 118 up date three times , but still did not work  .

SBS3 opened the screen but no data - Also show on the help icon that there was  '0'  firmware

Will try later on and see if I can load in version 118   .

I did load in 116 OK

Still back on the USB - All OK
  for now

At least the SBS3 is working on 175 and 116

Hi Tony

What's your SBS-3 serial number, to four places, such as 3031*?

Trying to see if there's a problem with a production batch?

Hi Anmer ,

Will check the serial number  .

Mine is 031049

Right now I am on the USB set up  running 1.2.3.175  F/W 115  - all is working good !!

I had a problem with my ACARS only decoding one freq  - Well now its working on all my ACARS Freq's - Yepppeeeeeeeeee   ;D

The other thing I have found - Firmware 116 has vanished off the Kinetic site .

Now I am going to see if I can set up my SBS3 on Ethernet again .  With all the messing about the IP address for the SBS changed in the router    .

Hi Anmer ,

Ethernet is all OK again and so is my ACARS decoding  .

So will leave the whole set up as it is  !!

So there was a problem with my first F/W116 set up - that's why my ACARS did not decode properly .

Take Care over there  -  Hope the weather clears up  -  We are into rain and +5 today
