Flightradar24 has just launched a subscription version of it's Premium package.

Premium is available for as little as Euro 1.99 a month and includes all the paid-for apps - iPhone/iPad, Android and Windows 8 - plus access to the Premium website.

Each app includes all the standard features (same as the paid-for apps) and in-app purchases.

The Premium website has no adverts or timeouts and can be viewed full screen.  It also has a new bookmark feature which I find really useful as well as an option to add VORs and NDB points.

And then there's Radar View, a Basestation like radar screen where you can customise aircraft labels, tracks and coastlines.  We can upload "industry" standard waypoint and outline files as well as a Basestation.ini file to manage custom colours.  And Radar View plots all the world-wide aircraft including the FAA data feed.  Wow!

But the really good news is that all these Premium features are free to those who share local data with FR24, including those using SBS1 Client.

I'm off to get the free apps.   :)
