Title: A flight of cranes
Post by: alpey on March 05, 2013, 09:22:19 AM
Hi all...
A flight of cranes over the house. We also see my VHF and WIMO 1090Mhz antenna.
That day (03/04), more than 1,000 cranes are directed to the NE of France.
Best regards.

Hi Mike

They are coming from Spain and going to Finland and neighbours country . A main "escale" in France are in région Champagne-Ardenne between Troyes and St-Dizier .
A very interesting site about this subject http://www.grus-grus.eu/ with several links.
The french word for cranes is grues.

You should make a loop at the end of the coaxial cable before connecting to the antenna.
