Title: ACARSD Aircraft Base !
Post by: airladysmith on April 18, 2013, 05:43:47 PM
Hi All ,

I have been using ACARSD Decoder for years .  But now I am getting fed up with plane information be out of date etc .

Is there a way of finding which file in the set up that ACARSD reads its aircraft information from ??

Seems none of the Data Base functions in ACARSD do any thing to change  the [Not Known] .

Had a Lufthansa A380 pass over here the over day - ACARSD said it is a A330  .  I have at least 20% of the Registrations showing Not known .

What I would like to done is use my SBS3 aircraft info  - or at least parts of it  .

I am using Mike Simpsons Display-Launcher for my SBS3 ACARS  .  It works a very well .

Thanks

Tony

try ACARSDECO2 is much better.
You can decode so many channels at the same time you want (dependent on the frequency range).

Hi Tony,

The SBS3-ACARS-Display new version on my site now, also works with Acarsdeco2, so I think you will find it works OK for you.
