A NEW direct flight between Durham Tees Valley airport and Ibiza is hoped to boost its 2014 summer season.
The route, operated by holiday company Thomson, is designed to fit in with its existing flights to Majorca and will run one day a week from May 3 until October 2014.
Destinations from the airport include the three-times-a-day KLM service to Amsterdam Schiphol, providing links to destinations worldwide, together with flights to Aberdeen, Palma, Majorca, Jersey, as well as some departures to Italy.
