Title: Aircraft flying Flight LH3470 and LH3471
Post by: mezoo on August 12, 2013, 09:02:07 PM
Sorry if this is not the right place to ask.

I am trying to find out which aircraft flew LH3470 (Düsseldorf-Dublin) on the 20.7. and the return LH3471 (Dublin-Düsseldorf) on the 10.8.

The planes were CR9's from Eurowings. However the flightdata does not seem to appear in the usual places i.e flightradar, planefinder or libhomeradar.

Yes - I was on those flights and yes I didn't check the registation when boarding  :(

Any pointers to where to look would be great

Just looked at my Basestation log. First problem is to identify what the call sign of those flights was. Lufthansa tends to use callsigns like DLH3CL instead of the flight  number known by passengers.

Problem is identifying the call sign

Once you know that you should find it on libhomeradar.

If I remember, I'll see if I can spot the flight tomorrow en route.

I think you might find your answers in notam-ireland.blogspot.co.uk.
This gives flights into and out of Dublin. On the days you mention 20 July LH3470/3471 [7XV/9AE] were flown by D-ACNM whilst on 10 Aug they were flown by D-ACNC.
Hope this helps

And once you know the callsigns, libhomeradar confirms those aircraft.

Also my SBS-1 recorded the 10 August flight as D-ACNC - I think it was asleep on 20 July  :-\

Thank you IanH and Teddybear

Without the Callsign I couldn't find anything.
Now I can complete my Flight Diary profile.  8)
