I posted ages ago that I had unearthed my old SW set in the loft and was looking for aerial suggestions.
I can't find the post so was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for an indoor/desktop aerial that will give me good general coverage and allow me to listen to HF airband on the North Atlantic/worldwide?
Big ask I know but any suggestions welcome. It may be that I would need two totally different twigs. years ago I ran bell wire round the loft but Mrs Sunny wouldn't be too happy this time round.
Anyway, thanks.
I haven't used it myself but Nevada radio sells an active HF antenna which is just 18" long.

I used to own a HF-125 - a lovely receiver which I regret selling.
I owned an HF-125. Then I got an ICOM IC-PCR100 for a knockdown price. Fantastic receiver.
My first receiver was an ex-USAF BC-348. Then an Eddystone 840C, the HF-125 and currently a Kenwood TS-2000 and a Yaesu FT-817.
Thank you too, Rob. ;D
