Title: Installing on to new machine
Post by: Magic440 on February 27, 2014, 06:45:07 PM
Hi guys.
I'm about to purchase a new PC,after my old 'died'.
Will be a windows7 (64bit) machine,rather than a XP one.
I don't really understand the virtual store that i keep reading about!
Should the basestation sqb be in this?
Also, could i not just create a new folder on the C drive,eg Basestation,
and install everything into that?
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Personally, given the choice, I don't install any programs into the Program Files folder. I use a separate drive and install there.

If you only have a C: drive. C:\BaseStation as an install folder will be fine and avoids the virtual store.

Good luck,

Tim
