Title: Global Hawk
Post by: mezoo on May 09, 2014, 05:33:49 PM
German newspapers are reporting that at least one Global Hawk will be deployed during the "Unified Vision 2014" manuevers which will take place in the next weeks near Norway.

Does anybody have a hexcode for these ?

As it is supposed to fly over Germany I'd like to set up an alert

The EuroHawk version had ADSB and I picked it up last year before they stopped flying it.

Eurohawk can be seen here  flying around Germany last year.
It is Mode S only  3FB101 and was captured using Mlat

However the project was cancelled by the German government as [ alledgedly ] it carries no collision avoidance system

In the main , Global Hawks use the callsign GHUAV and hex 000001
I have picked them up on PP  over the US , Guatemala S Korea and the Middle East.

I doubt Eurohawk will be involved , but you never know !
