Title: FD error message.
Post by: charliebrown on May 29, 2014, 11:38:06 AM
I have started getting the  attached error message when I shut down FD.

Also getting the "There have been more than 10 internet errors - Press Start Button to restart look ups".

Any suggestions what is causing this.

Using BaseStation 185 with Kinetic 1090 and SDR pucks.

Charlie

FD is seeing Internet Errors when connecting to an external resource, typically a route lookup.

Check the Internet Errors txt file which should be in the UserData folder and check which one it is.

Hi Mike

Thanks for getting back so promptly.

I have attached a couple of FD files as there seems to be lots of internet errors.

Regards,

Charlie

Disable the Flightstats lookup and see how it goes.

That's the problem with FD, it's not supported so when a remote site changes, the lookup script in FD fails.

Hi Mike

I have un-ticked the Flightstats box in FD.

I'll see how that works.

Charlie

Hi Mike

With Flightstats box un-ticked in FD, the attached error message was generated when I closed down FD last night.

Did you close down Basestation before FD?
