Title: Apple laptops
Post by: Mariner on May 30, 2014, 11:12:32 AM
Good Day All,

Does any member have experience of running "parallels" on an Apple Laptop which in turn may run SBS base station and aerodata software.

I am about to purchase a new laptop and would like to get an Apple, however it is an expensive exercise (around £2500 with all the bells and whistles) if it would not work.

Grateful for your advice and experiences.

Thank you

Mariner

I have no personal experience but know many who have successfully used Parallels to run Basestation.

Hi, I have a Mac with Paralles and have been using Basestation and running with my SBS-1 but using PlaneBase software with PBlink to update the database.

Good Day,

Thank you for your reply. To be truthful I probably will go the PC way.

Thank you for all replies.
