Cheers

I assume from the ash tray, box of fags and lighter on the kitchen table, that this is NOT from a non-smoking home ;D ;D
Sorry,
Tim
Correct, well spotted, hence not stated!
Jon
Postage seem excessive.
Hi Mike
I did refer to the post office web site before listing. I will only send via special delivery which is now bloody expensive but is fully insured and tracked. Peace of mind for me and the buyer.

I did refer to the post office web site before listing.
I have been buying and selling on eBay for many years and before making my previous post I checked the Royal Mail Price Finder.
What are the dimensions and weight of the parcel?
To me the reality of the postage costs don't matter.
It just changes the maximum amount I'm prepared to bid: max bid = perceived value - postage cost. If I lose some items because others just see the bid price, so be it.

Others, like me, check the postage as it's part of the eBay feedback process. Especially when there's a Buy it Now option.
Mike
As Ian said, he like I do, takes the whole cost into consideration.
Your opinion is that the postage is excessive. Fine, please do not bid.
For others thinking that, again, please feel free not to bid. If the unit does not sell I will hang onto it.
If anyone want to do a deal outside eBay and arrange their own postage, that is fine as well. No skin off my nose, I do not try to make a profit from postage, I get very upset when others do...but then I tend not to bid for their items.
Best wishes
Jon
B*gg*r, it has gone over the buy it now price. >:( It would have been mine if PayPal hadn't naffed up and rejected my payment. By time I sorted it out someone had bid on it and the buy it now had gone :-(
Oh well I'll make a start with a dongle until another one comes up at the right price!! ;D
I hope you don't mind Mike http://www.tmrf.co.uk/product-category/garagesale/

Thanks Chris, I see you have a used SBS-1 and SBS-1e for sale at attractive prices.
Do these come with any warranty?
I just bought a pair of used observation binoculars and they came with 6 months warranty and are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations.
Sometimes buying used equipment from a retailer has advantages.
Thanks Mike
My used products come with 3 months warranty and are fully tested etc
With used call before ordering because unlike new products I only have of each used item
