A plane full of holidaymakers returning from Ibiza made an emergency landing at East Midlands Airport when smoke filled the cabin.
Some passengers climbed out on to the wing of the Jet2 plane after it landed at about 21:10 BST on Wednesday, witnesses said.

I tend to fly with Jet2 at least twice a year to go on holiday. Always seemed ok until a trip from Venice to Manchester in April. The cabin crew seemed to have no leader.
And not inspired when one of the lady passengers in the overwing emergency exit seats had to be calmed down because she was scared of flying. Cabin crew though about moving her (yes please!) but couldn't make up their minds so nothing happened. I did write to Jet2 to complain but got the usual platitudes.
That was a Boeing 737-300. Other journeys on Boeing 737-800 seemed to have cabin crew with a definite leader making decisions. Perhaps a seniority thing with Jet2 - you start on 733s?
Edit: off with them again in 2 weeks!
