Can anyone help me please ? Recently I'm no longer able to see Ian K's tail logos on the forum,
they just show as blank , see image below.
I've tried using IE, Google Chrome and Firefox and still I can't view them, this is also the case on my laptop?
Thanks
Terry

Hi Terry,
Could it be something to do with anti virus software ?
Try disableing it and see if that cures it, perhaps there was an update recently that has stopped you from viewing them.
All OK here. Running Firefox 32.0.1, Win 7 64-bit with all the latest updates installed and AVG Internet Security 2014 (which does not indicate an alert when viewing Ian's logos).
I can view on Firefox and Chrome when signed in.
Can you view Paulm's and Chris Alder's logos OK?
Can you post the link for the post that you can't view?
Hi Chaps
Thanks for the replies.
I can't view Paulm's or Chris's logos either on the forum
I've disabled AVG and that doesn't let me view either?
The link I'm using to Ian K's logos is:

Thanks
Terry
I suspect it's your local security settings for your browsers if you've turned off AVG.
Thank You, I'll check those out.
Could this also have anything to do with my MMS2 issue, or is it just a complete coincidence do you think?
Terry
Hi Amner
I've reset the default settings with my IE browser, looked at the security settings, changed settings with it, and I still can't view the logos!
Any further ideas please before I tear out the little hair I have :)
Thanks
Terry
If you are experiencing this problem on different computers with different browsers and you have no active firewall, I'm at a loss to offer any further explanations.
Has this only just occurred?
Hi Amner
This has only happened in the past 5 days or so, in fact when I downloaded Firefox yesterday I could see the logos, and yet this morning when I looked I couldn't?
Thanks
Terry
Unfortunately it looks like it's a local setting, nothing I can change here.
Try Googling the topic.
I've already tried googling but nothing on the net as far as I can see.
I can see the bmp images on my own blog as well.
Any further suggestions would greatly be received, would there be any point of remotely accessing my PC to see if anything obvious stands out?
Thanks
Terry
Hi
I have been having the same problem for months. I have looked at various settings in IE and have had no luck. I too would be very interested if a solution is found.
Do you have the same issue using different browsers?
Hi Anmer
Yes all browsers, IE, Chrome, Firefox and this evening I downloaded Opera and that does the
same.
I've stopped the firewall on my router as well, I have deleted any recent installed programs or updates, stopped AVG and Windows Firewall, reset IE to default settings.
I can't for the life of me think of anything that I've done, apart from turning the router off for 2 weeks whilst I was on holiday!
Thanks again
Terry
Good Morning Anmer
I have eliminated the router causing the problem this morning.
I tried my daughters IPAD and Laptop which has an older version of IE, and once logged
I was able to view the logos. I then tried logging out and then in on my main PC and laptop
but still I can't see the logos? I'm running version 11 of IE, but as mentioned before I've tried several other browsers too?
Thanks again
Terry
Thank Terry
To help me try and find the cause of this issue could anyone who doesn't see the displayed logos when signed into the forum please report:
1. What operating system and version.
2. What browsers and versions.
3. What anti-virus and firewall.
Anmer,
I have no problem with them in either FF or IE, and have been downloading them from Chris-A for years,,, cheers Chris..
I can replicate the problem on my works Laptop running Win 7 64 bit using IE8 (yes I know it's old but that's decreed from on high). AV is Symantec Endpoint Protection.
I have to connect via a VPN and some of my browser settings require a corporate proxy server. Therefore, it may not be properly representative due to the company IT dept's involvement ;D
My own desktop running Firefox 32.0.1 has no issues at all.
Tim
Thanks Tim
Does this link open the image on the laptop?
http://www.radarspotting.com/images/BAW.BMP
Hi Mike,
Yes, it gives me the option to open or save and when I click open it opens in ...... paint.
Thanks,
Tim
And do you see this?
Indeed I do :)
But I am still seeing the attached on the logo page.

Hi Anmer
I can see the BAW logo from the link and also the one on this thread, but still nothing on Ian's logo pages.
Thanks
Terry
Further to my last, but can't see the BAW logo when I'm logged in, but can when I'm not?
Terry
And another up date. I can see the logos with Firefox now, but this happened the other day, then the next I couldn't? Most odd?
Terry
Hi guys
Just to add my details I use Vista SP2, with IE9 & AVG Free with Windows Security Centre Firewall. I cannot see the second BAW logo when I am logged in or not. Just tried Chrome 37 and I can see the second logo fine. Very strange!
This evening I can see Ian's logos using Firefox and Chrome, but still not with IE.
Terry
A quick up date on seeing Ian's tail logos.
I can see the logos using Google Chrome, but not with Firefox or IE, still quite a mystery this one!
Kindest Regards
Terry
